Our Process

It was important to maintain the historic elements of the Hecht Warehouse. We were tasked with developing a glass block design to match the original glass block from the late 1930’s. To meet the specs, we used a Type S “Custom Color” mortar, as well as the custom block, to maintain the historic aesthetic of the building.

  • Approximately 28,000 custom glass blocks
  • Custom colored mortar
  • Maintain historic integrity
