The Calvin Klein Soho store in New York City incorporates the GBA Architectural Grid system to deliver a modern glass block solution aligned with the brand’s minimalist aesthetic.

The project features 2411/8 Wave Pattern glass block installed within the GBA Architectural Grid across three distinct areas of the store. Each application was designed to provide light transmission, visual texture, and spatial definition without compromising openness. Calvin Klein opted to add lights behind the glass block to enhance the over aesthetic.

Installations include:
- Cash Desk Feature Wall – 15'-6" x 12'-1"
- Fitting Room Enclosure – 10' x 8'-11"
- Rear Atrium Wall (Curved) – 12'-10" x 13'-6"

The wave pattern glass diffuses light while introducing subtle movement, enhancing the overall material palette of the space. The GBA Architectural Grid system allows for a clean, mortarless installation, supporting both linear and curved conditions while maintaining consistent joint alignment and structural integrity. All critical dimensions and installation conditions were field verified prior to fabrication and installation to ensure accuracy and performance.

"...the walls look amazing! They are our own CK work of art! A real feature in the store. Thank you for your and your team’s hard work. Much appreciated and definitely worth the efforts." - Doug Gellenbeck, Senior Director of Design Development at Calvin Klein

This project demonstrates the flexibility of the GBA Architectural Grid in high-end retail environments, accommodating complex geometries while delivering a precise, contemporary finish.
